Eerste foto’s laatste seizoen Mad Men
Vandaag zijn de eerste foto’s van het laatste seizoen van AMC-hitserie Mad Men vrijgegeven. We zien Don Draper (Jon Hamm) terwijl hij op het vliegveld is. Verder zien we Megan (Jessica Paré), Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) en Roger (John Slattery). Showrunner Matthew Weiner liet weten dat we niets achter de foto’s hoeven te zoeken:
“We picked the airport partially because of the irony of the fact that there is zero glamour at an airport now, and in travel in general. It doesn’t defy analysis, because all those people will be in the show, but I would not read meaning into it. Sorry! The goal is to “remind everybody who’s there, and show off our hair and makeup and costumes and photography and the incredible cast, in a way that whets your appetite for the show.”
Daarnaast ging Weiner in op het laatste seizoen:
“It is one story running across. Much of what is set up in much in the first seven episodes is paid off in the last seven as we do traditionally, but the stories are denser and the first seven episodes are their own arc. It really involves two premieres and two finales. I’m writing episode nine. Right now, I’m definitely thinking about the pilot. It really involves two premieres and two finales.”
Net als Breaking Bad wordt dit laatste seizoen van de serie in twee delen uitgezonden. De eerste zeven afleveringen gaan deze lente in première en volgend jaar de andere zeven afleveringen.
