Nieuwe foto en synopsis Ant-Man and the Wasp

Marvel Studios heeft de nieuwe foto en synopsis vrijgegeven van Ant-Man and the Wasp. De foto kun je hieronder bekijken. De synopsis is als volgt:

“From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes Ant-Man and The Wasp, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a super hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.”

Acteurs Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man), Evangeline Lilly (Hope van Dyne/Wasp), Michael Douglas (Dr. Hank Pym) en Michael Pena (Luis)  keren terug voor de superheldenfilm. Tevens zien we de terugkeer van Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris en David Dastmalchian. Daarnaast zijn er rollen voor Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Randall Park, Hannah John-Kamen en Walton Goggins. Regisseur Peyton Reed zei eerder over de sequel:

“I think the only thing I can tell you with certainty at this point… is that it’s going to have stuff in it that you’ve never ever seen in a movie before.”

Ant-Man and the Wasp staat gepland voor 18 juli 2018.
