Nieuwe poster voor The Angry Birds Movie 2

Sony Pictures en Rovio Entertainment hebben vandaag een nieuwe poster vrijgegeven voor The Angry Birds Movie 2. Deze kun je hieronder bekijken.

De terugkerende castleden zijn Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses, We’re the Millers), Josh Gad (Frozen) en Danny McBride (This is the End). Ze spreken de stemmen in van drie belangrijkste vogels, respectievelijk Red, Chuck en Bomb. Ook zijn er wederom rollen voor Bill Hader en Peter Dinklage.

De nieuwkomers in de cast zijn Leslie Jones (SNL, Ghostbusters), Golden Globe winnaar Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Golden Globe en Emmy winnaar Sterling K. Brown (This is Us, Black Panther, The People vs. O.J. Simpson), Mexico’s superster Eugenio Derbez (Instructions Not Included, Overboard), Zach Woods (Silicon Valley, The Post), Awkwafina (Oceans 8, Crazy Rich Asians), Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Dove Cameron (The Descendants, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Beck Bennett (SNL, Brigsby Bear) en Brooklynn Prince (The Florida Project).

John Cohen (Despicable Me, The Angry Birds Movie), de producent van de sequel, zei:

“I’m thrilled about our incredibly talented filmmaking team and the hilarious people we’ve brought together for the sequel.  We’re so happy that Jason, Josh, Bill, Danny, and Peter are back for a second adventure joined by Leslie, Rachel, Sterling, Eugenio and this awesome ensemble of new talent.  We’ll have many more exciting announcements to share soon.”

The Angry Birds Movie 2 wordt geregisseerd door Thurop Van Orman (The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Adventure Time) en John Rice (King of the Hill, Rick and Morty). The Angry Birds Movie 2 draait vanaf september 2019 in de bioscoop.
