Pokémon Go bedenker komt met Harry Potter: Wizards Unite in 2018

Niantic, Inc. en Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment hebben Harry Potter: Wizards Unite officieel aangekondigd. Dit is een augmented reality (AR) mobile game gebisseerd op J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite zal gebruik maken van de nieuwste augmented reality mobile technologie om de magie in de handen van toekomstige tovenaars en heksen te plaatsen.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite zal onthullen dat magie overal om ons heen is en spelers in staat stellen onderdeel te zijn van de weidse wereld van Harry Potter, via Niantic’s AR + real-world mobiele spelplatform en de franchise-expertise van het ontwikkeling- en publicatieteam van WB Games San Francisco. Door het verkennen van echte buurten en steden over de hele wereld, gaan spelers op avontuur, leren en gebruiken spreuken, ontdekken ze mysterieuze artefacten en ontmoeten ze legendarische beesten en iconische personages.

De titel is onderdeel van Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Portkey Games, een nieuwe games label gericht op het ontwikkelen van computerspellen en mobile experiences, geïnspireerd door J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.
