Amazons The Lord of The Rings in 2022 in première

Het is alweer een poosje geleden dat Amazon de serie gebaseerd op J.R.R. Tolkiens The Lord of The Rings aankondigde. Inmiddels is er goed nieuws voor de Tolkien fans die al lang op de serie wachten. Er is namelijk een première datum bekend gemaakt. 2 september 2022 zal de serie exclusief te zien zijn op Amazon Prime, en wel in 240 landen. Elke week zullen nieuwe afleveringen verschijnen, hoewel het nog niet duidelijk is of het om slechts één aflevering, of meerdere gaat.

Een officiële naam heeft de serie nog niet. Wat Amazon verder nog heeft onthuld is een screenshot. De afbeelding heeft verder geen context. We weten dus niet welke locatie en welk personage hierin wordt afgebeeld.

Er heerst nog steeds een aura van mysterie rond dit The Lord of The Rings project. Eerder dit jaar onthulde TheOneRing.net wel een synopsis van de serie. die kun je hier lezen:
