De serie Mystic vanaf 24 december op Netflix

De serie Mystic is vanaf 24 december 2020 te zien op Netflix. Bekijk hieronder alvast de trailer. We volgen in de reeks Issie, die na het verlies van haar vader verhuist van Londen naar Kauri Point. Ze krijgt visioenen van een paard en komt terecht bij een stal, waar nieuwe avonturen beginnen.

Serie Mystic op Netflix

Na de dood van haar vader besluit tiener Issie (Macey Chipping) naar Nieuw-Zeeland te vertrekken. Daar raakt ze bevriend met een groep paardrijders, die proberen te voorkomen dat het landschap wordt vernietigd door een fabrieksuitbreiding.

De hoofdrollen worden gespeeld door Macey Chipping, Laura Patch, Cathy Downes, Phil Brown, Jacqueline Joe, Kirk Torrance, Cathy Downes, Jonny Brugh, Antonia Robinson, Max Crean, Josh Tan en Harriet Walton.

Mystic is een Brits/Nieuw-Zeelandse dramaserie voor tieners. De serie ging op 14 juli 2020 in première op CBBC en BBC iPlayer. De reeks is geproduceerd door Libertine Pictures en Slim film + televisie voor CBBC, TVNZ en het Seven Network. Het is gebaseerd op Pony Club Secrets, Stacy Gregg’s ponyromans, waarvan de eerste Mystic and the Midnight Ride (2007) als titel heeft. Mystic speelt zich af op het fictieve schiereiland Kauri Point in Nieuw-Zeeland. Aan het hoofd van het schrijfteam staan de Britse schrijvers Amy Shindler en Beth Chalmers, die de serie voor televisie hebben gemaakt.
