Thanos en Infinity Stones niet in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

De opnames van Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 zijn momenteel volop in gang in Atlanta. Regisseur James Gunn gaf daarom wat opheldering over de film. Zo liet hij weten dat we niet hoeven te rekenen op een rol voor superschurk Thanos (Josh Brolin). Ook zullen de Infinity Stones niet in de film voorkomen. In antwoord op een fan op zijn Facebook-pagina zei Gunn:

“Thanos will not appear in Vol. 2. No. As I’ve said before, Thanos isn’t in this movie. I think he’s gonna have a little bit to do and say when it comes to a certain wars and infinity. We’ve got other fish to fry in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”

Over de Infinity Stones, waar Thanos zo achteraan zit, zei hij:

“We’re not really so much about the Infinity Stones in Guardians 2. Is that a spoiler? It’s not really a thing.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 heeft hoofdrollen voor Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker, Benicio Del Toro. Op 27 april 2017 gaat de film in première.
