The Walking Dead-acteur Scott Wilson overleden

Scott Wilson is op 76-jarige leeftijd in Los Angeles overleden aan de gevolgen van leukemie. Wilson speelde in meer dan vijftig films, maar is voornamelijk bekend als Hershel uit de populaire serie The Walking Dead.

De dood van Wilson volgt vlak na het nieuws dat Wilson zou terugkeren in The Walking Dead. Scriptschrijfster Angela Kang bevestigde onlangs dat Wilson te zien is in het negende seizoen.

Het officiële The Walking Dead Twitter account plaatste het volgende:

“We are deeply saddened to report that Scott Wilson, the incredible actor who played Hershel on #TheWalkingDead, has passed away at the age of 76. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in paradise, Scott. We love you!”

Wilson’s agent zei in een statement:

“With regret, I can confirm that my friend and client Scott Wilson passed away at his home in LA earlier today, due to complications from Leukemia. Scott was one of the most genuine, inspirational, and truly beloved people. His amazing legacy will live on through his timeless performances. He will be missed deeply by his wife, family, and friends.”
