Nieuwe SparkShorts Out toont Pixar’s eerste LGBTQ+ hoofdpersonage

Disney+ heeft een gloednieuwe SparkShorts-teaser uitgebracht voor de voortzetting van de animatieserie van Pixar, die ons een eerste blik geeft op de animatiestudio’s allereerste LGBTQ+ -hoofdpersonage. De nieuwe short van SparkShorts, geregisseerd en geschreven door Steven Clay Hunter, is getiteld Out en is nu beschikbaar voor streaming op Disney+. Bekijk de onderstaande video!

SparkShorts is Pixar’s nieuwste verzameling artiestenprojecten van zes vertellers. De serie introduceerde zes korte films getiteld Float, Purl, Kitbull, Smash and Grab, Wind en Loop. De eerste vier gingen op 12 november in première, terwijl Wind en Loop op respectievelijk 13 en 10 december debuteerden. President van Pixar Animation Studios Jim Morris zei:

“The SparkShorts program is designed to discover new storytellers, explore new storytelling techniques, and experiment with new production workflows. These films are unlike anything we’ve ever done at Pixar, providing an opportunity to unlock the potential of individual artists and their inventive filmmaking approaches on a smaller scale than our normal fare.” 

De streamingdienst van Disney is het exclusieve huis voor het bekijken van video-on-demand van de nieuwste live-action en animatieseries en films van Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel en Fox.
