De Television Academy heeft vandaag de 74ste Emmy Awards 2022 nominaties bekendgemaakt. JB Smoove en Melissa Fumero maakten tijdens een virtuele ceremonie bekend wie er zullen strijden om de hoogste onderscheidingen van TV.

Succession leidt de nominaties voor de Emmy Awards 2022. De dramaserie van HBO kreeg in totaal 25 nominaties, gevolgd door Apple’s Ted Lasso en HBO’s The White Lotus, die elk 20 nominaties verdienden. Andere series met die hoge ogen gooiden zijn Hacks (17 nominaties), Only Murders in the Building (17 nominaties), Euphoria (16 nominaties), Barry (14 nominaties), Dopesick (14 nominaties), Severance (14 nominaties), Squid Game (14 nominaties), Ozark (13 nominaties), Stranger Things (13 nominaties), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (12 nominaties) en Pam & Tommy (10 nominaties).
